March is the season of early spring rain and melting snow in New York.
Here are some recent photos of mine from Algonquin Powder Mill Park on Rte 52 in Newburgh.
Misty River
Misty Falls
Waterfall - full of March water
So, why the post title in Portuguese? Because March is also the time for rain at the end of the summer in Brazil, and Tom Jobim wrote a wonderful laid-back song called “Aguas de Março” – sung in this clip (below) by the composer himself and Elis Regina.
I am a translator, origami artist/teacher, and photographer, a blogger, former philosophy professor, and I love to sing.
