Homilycast #232: July 5, Thursday of the XIII week in Ordinary Time, year II

Here is my homily for today, recorded during the 9AM Mass at St. Joachim’s in Rockport.

You can hear all of my “homilycasts” by copying this URL:

and adding it to your favorite podcast client software. For instance, in iTunes, you would click on the “Advanced” menu at the top of the screen and pick the second option, “Subscribe to podcast…” That makes a window pop up where you can paste the address I list above. You then click “OK”, and – depending on your default settings – you will get each new “homilycast” automatically!

I have not yet heard your homily cast for today; although yesterday’s I think could very well apply for todays readings as well. The Hebrews scriptures are clear, you had a choice and for some it was not a good choice which they made, and then in the gospel Jesus came for the sinners…and He clearly went out of his way to inspire and convert hearts whose choices would bare great consequences if they did not acknowledge the truth..
