Going to the Origami Convention in NYC

Tomorrow after morning Mass, I am heading off to Manhattan for the annual Origami USA convention! I am really looking forward to it – there is nothing quite like being in a crowd of origami enthusiasts of all ages! I look forward to seeing old friends from past conventions, and making new friends too. I will be teaching a couple of classes this year, for the first time in a rather long time – the last time I taught at a convention must have been 1991…

This means I won’t be posting any homilies until mid-next-week, as I won’t be celebrating public Masses at a parish. Fortunately, I’ll be staying with a community of Franciscans who have a small chapel I can use for my private Masses in either the early morning or late evening.

I’ll share some photos when I get back…
