Waterfall at Watkins Glen

I didn’t post a homily today, because I didn’t have a public Mass, but there will be one tomorrow (currently being checked by my editor, i.e. Mom).

In the meantime, here is a nice photo I took last year at Watkins Glen State Park in upstate New York. If you ever get the chance, visit this park – it’s really beautiful. There are many waterfalls and interesting rock formations throughout the gorge. But, bring your walking shoes, and clothes that can get wet and/or muddy, because there are places where water drips and splashes on the path, and there are lots of stairs.

I take so many photos at these places that have ended up with hundreds (at least) of photos that I have never had the time to process.  Sometimes I go back and scroll through the folders until I find one that catches my fancy, then I process it and upload to my Flickr photostream, which helps keep it active even if I haven’t taken new photos recently.
