Weekly Photo Challenge: Mountains

This week, the theme of the photo challenge is “mountains.” I simply cannot choose just one photo for that theme, so here are a variety of mountains shots from my travels:

Dent de Jaman, Switzerland

Dent de Jaman from above

Mountains in Simplon Pass (between Switzerland and Italy)

A mountain in Northern Italy (taken from the highway on the road to Gozzano)

The Alps, seen from an airplane window

Slieve League, Ireland

I’m wondering why I bother when I see such amazing shots!

Before you start your travels to Boston remember to take a picture of our Mt. Beacon. It may not be the tallest or as breathtaking as those in your pictures, but it would be a memory of Newburgh. Before the college built that new building, Mt. Beacon was the view from St. Pat’s steps. We will miss you. We will read your homilies whenever you put them on computer. Elsie and Dave Barry
