Special prayer request from another blogger

Fr John Zuhlsdorf over at his famous blog, “What Does the Prayer Really Say,” is asking for prayers. It’s for a worthy cause. Rather than try to summarize the situation here, I encourage all readers of this post to follow the link and “jump on the bandwagon” praying for a little child with cancer.

Thanks!

  1. Hi Father, Enjoyed your writing, and the manner in which your blog is layed out. We will pray, as requested. I’ve requested your updates to be notified by e-mail.

My wife Agnes and I try to say the rosary daily and ask our heavenly Father for a miracle to cure our great granddaughter Laticia, who is a Baby Shake Victim almost two years ago. A year or so ago we started to ask family and friends and people we just meet to pray for her. E- mail was the means of contact. I felt that I have to widen the area of contact to have more people pray for Laticia. I’m 80 and by accident I started a blog, not knowing really what I was or am doing, except I always try to do the best I can. This morning I asked our Father to help me find find a means of exsposing my blog to others, to enlist their prayers. I found your site this afternoon. If you could help to spread my blog site, I would greatlyappreciate it.

Your site is beautiful and shows a lot of expertise and if you could direct me to a book or a on-line tutorial regarding Blog Creations, I would be very grateful.

    • Thank you for your comment! Really, I didn’t have to put much work into designing my blog – I just used a nice template offered by my blog hosting site, WordPress.com, and swapped the stock images for photos I have taken. That’s all there was to it! Your blog is hosted on a different site, so I couldn’t offer much specific advice except to go to the host site and look for a “how-to” page.
I have a lot of Facebook friends, so I’ll post a link to your blog there. Hopefully it will get some people to visit your blog and pray for your beautiful little great-grand-daughter!

    • By the way, I’m impressed! There are not many great-grandfathers that I know who would get a good blog going like you have. I hope it succeeds in building a prayer community whose prayers help Laticia to have a full and love-filled life.

    Hi Father Green,
Here it is Dec 14 and your reply to my April 28 2011 message to you just poped-up on my E-Mail page while I was preparing a mssage.

Regarless I do appreciate your response.

I’ve stopped posting to my blog since someone has also posted to it and I don’t appreciate what has been done to my site, and I looking for a means to have it removed it.

Thank you for what you have done on Facebook on my behalf it is greatly appreciated.

Agnes and I extend to you and all your family and friends a most Blessed Christmas, and a beneficial New Year. May your blog site grow beyond measure.

If you respond to this, do not look for an immediate reply since we leaving shortly for a cruise to celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary. Thankfully the vessel will have a priest aboard to celebrate Christmas Mass.
