When the iPad came out, I thought it was pretty cool, but I didn’t see what I’d use it for. I already have a Mac laptop, a Kindle, and an Android smart phone, so where does the iPad fit it?
In recent months I’ve seen a few iPads in use, and the attraction is growing. I’ve been seriously thinking about getting one when the new model comes out (expected sometime in the first half of this year).
Then, I saw the iCADE – a desktop cabinet that turns the iPad into a mini retro-style arcade game machine! I have to admit, if they come out with a decent variety of games, this may well tip the scales for me!
Or, maybe not. Maybe my common sense and tendency to thriftiness will prevail over arcade game nostalgia and the sheer coolness of the iPad. We shall see.

Same here, Kinga my wife was about to buy me one for Christmas, but I said wait until the 2nd generation came out. I fly to london about once a month. I’m not sure if its an Apple Marketing tool, but their has been a person on 1st row with an Ipad the last 3 times. The whole plane sees him when we are boards, (not sure its the same guy).
